Religious committee to visit Sargodha on 2nd

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) A delegation of Ulema Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen Committee will visit Sargodha on June 2 under the leadership of Provincial Khateeb Punjab and Chairman of the Committee, Maulana Mukhtar Ahmed Nadeem, to discuss arrangements and strategies for maintaining peace and religious harmony during Muharram-ul-Haram.

According to the official spokesperson here on Monda, the delegation will hold meetings with prominent religious scholars, members of district and divisional peace committees, religious leaders, and administrative officials across the division.

Discussions will focus on maintaining law and order, promoting inter-sect harmony, fostering religious tolerance, and strengthening unity among Muslims during the holy month.

Preparations for the visit were reviewed in a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Rana Muhammad Abu Bakar.

The meeting finalized the delegation’s schedule and assigned responsibilities to relevant departments, directing them to complete all arrangements in a timely manner.
