ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 Attock provided emergency assistance to 498 people during the three days of Eid-ul-Adha 2026, while maintaining an average response time of approximately seven minutes across the district, District Emergency Officer Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq said on Saturday.
According to official statistics, Rescue 1122 Attock received a total of 2,872 calls from May 27 to May 29, of which 533 were emergency calls requiring immediate intervention. The emergencies included 374 medical cases, 58 road traffic accidents, six crime-related incidents, 21 fire emergencies, and 60 other incidents reported from different parts of the district.
Dr. Ashfaq said Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly to emergencies and provided assistance to 498 patients and victims during the Eid holidays.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>In addition, 28 patients were shifted to various government hospitals in Rawalpindi through the Patient Transfer Service, ensuring timely access to specialized medical care.
To ensure public safety during Eid celebrations, ambulances, fire vehicles, motorbike ambulance teams and emergency personnel remained on high alert at mosques, imambargahs, Eid congregations, cattle markets, recreational sites and other sensitive locations. Special monitoring arrangements were also maintained along rivers, canals and other water bodies across the district to prevent accidents and ensure swift emergency response whenever required, he added.
