Rescue 1122 chief reviews emergency preparedness for Ashura processions in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2026) District Emergency Officer Tahira Khan on Friday inspected Rescue 1122 emergency arrangements along the routes of Ashura processions originating from various Imambargahs in Chiniot, reviewing preparedness to ensure prompt medical and rescue services for mourners.

During the visit, she examined the operational readiness of medical camps, emergency response points, ambulances, and other rescue vehicles deployed along the procession routes. She also reviewed the performance of Rescue 1122 personnel and issued on-the-spot instructions to further strengthen emergency response measures.

Tahira Khan said Rescue 1122 had made comprehensive arrangements to provide timely medical assistance and emergency services throughout the Ashura observances. She emphasized that the safety and well-being of mourners remained the foremost priority of the department.

The District Emergency Officer directed all rescue personnel to remain on high alert and maintain complete operational readiness to respond immediately to any emergency situation. She stressed that a swift and coordinated response would be essential to ensuring the peaceful and safe conduct of Ashura processions across the district.
