Rescue 1122 continues Eid-ul-Adha relief operations, handles 677 emergencies on first day

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) On the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, Rescue 1122 provided timely relief services in 677 different emergencies across the province

In a press statement issued here on Thursday, Director General Rescue 1122, Shah Fahad said that Rescue 1122 responded promptly to 122 road traffic accidents on the first day of Eid and shifted several injured to hospitals.

The teams of Rescue 1122 carried out timely relief operations in 453 medical emergencies across the province.

On the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, Rescue 1122 quickly controlled 47 fire incidents and saved from major losses.

Similarly, Rescue 1122 completed relief operations in 16 crime incidents and 2 building collapse accidents in different districts.

The Rescue 1122 teams provided immediate relief to the citizens by rendering services in 36 other emergencies on the first day of Eid.

Around 629 people were rescued across the province and shifted them to safe places and hospitals on time.

The highest number of emergencies, 129, were reported in Peshawar district on the first day of Eid, where Rescue 1122 remained on full alert.

Immediate relief services were provided in 87 emergencies in Mardan and 49 in Nowshera.

Special teams of Rescue 1122 in tourist places, highways and sensitive areas are on high alert during the Eid holidays.
