Rescue teams remained deployed at the site, utilizing professional expertise and available resources to carry out the operation. Despite facing challenges due to the strong current and depth of the river, officials said efforts were underway to locate the missing youth.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson Jawaid Afridi, all possible measures are being taken to ensure recovery, and the operation will continue until the body is found.

He also urged the public to exercise caution near rivers, canals, and other deep water bodies, advising against unnecessary entry into such areas to avoid tragic incidents.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of public awareness and preventive safety measures, reiterating the department’s commitment to safeguarding lives and responding effectively to emergencies.
