Rescue 1122 DI Khan make elaborate emergency arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 has made special emergency arrangements across the district to ensure timely and effective emergency services for citizens during Eid-ul-Azha.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, the arrangements were made under the special directives of the Director General Rescue 1122 and Director Operations South, while District Emergency Officer Dera Ismail Khan supervised the implementation of the comprehensive emergency plan.

As part of the Eid safety measures, trained diving staff of Rescue 1122 have been deployed at the Indus River and other canals and water points to respond promptly to any untoward incidents during bathing, boating or recreational activities.

He added that Rescue 1122 personnel will remain on high alert round the clock throughout the Eid holidays and will provide immediate rescue and emergency response services in case of any emergency situation.

The District Emergency Officer urged citizens to adopt precautionary measures at Eid gatherings and recreational spots, keep a close watch on children, avoid over-speeding and exercise caution while visiting rivers and canals.
