Rescue 1122 ensures Eid emergency medical coverage across district

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 provided medical coverage at all major mosques and Eidgahs across Faisalabad on Eid-ul-Azha to ensure timely emergency response during festive congregations,here on Wednesday.

According to District Emergency Officer(DEO) Engineer Naveed Iqbal,Rescue 1122 remained fully active throughout Eid-ul-Azha and implemented a special emergency coverage plan to facilitate citizens during holiday gatherings.

Under the plan, medical and emergency cover was ensured at key mosques,Eidgahs and public places across all tehsils of the district, while rescuers remained on high alert for any untoward incident.

Rescue teams equipped with ambulances and modern medical equipment were deployed at important locations to ensure immediate response in case of emergencies.

The DEO said the safety of citizens remained the top priority and all available resources were being utilized to respond to emergencies without delay during Eid days.

He urged citizens to contact Rescue Helpline 1122 in case of any emergency to ensure timely assistance.

He also advised parents to keep close supervision of children,discourage underage and helmetless motorcycle riding, and avoid dangerous activities such as one-wheeling.

Given the hot weather conditions,he cautioned families against allowing children to visit canals and rivers during Eid holidays.

He added that Rescue 1122 mobile teams would remain deployed near canals throughout the Eid period to prevent drowning incidents and ensure public safety.
