Rescue 1122 holds training for workers

SHANGLA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Emergency Rescue Service 1122 Shangla here Wednesday arranged a training workshop for workers of Village Disaster Management Committees.

The day long training session was held under the supervision of District Emergency Officer, Sher Dil Khan while workers from villages of Banda Chenai, Sheshan, Lewani Kali and other areas attended the session.

During workshop, workers were informed about Early Warning System and Disaster Risk Management to cope with the emergency situations. effectively. Participants were also briefed about preventive measures during natural disaster including floods, rain and land sliding.

Practical exercise were also held for orientation of workers and to establish effective liaison with rescue workers. Workers appreciated the efforts of Rescue 1122 to train workers and suggested holding of these workshops in other areas.
