Rescue 1122 Murree redressed 2444 emergency calls in April

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 Murree provided timely emergency services to 2435 victims during the month of April 2026, says a monthly performance report.

According to the report issued by the District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Murree, the Command and Control Room received 2444 emergency calls in April. Rescue teams responded promptly and provided services to 2435 victims.

Out of these, 1215 victims were given first aid and shifted to various hospitals in Murree district, while 998 victims received immediate medical assistance on the spot. Unfortunately, 19 people lost their lives in different incidents at the scene.

The emergencies handled during the month included 134 road traffic accidents, 3 fire incidents, 217 cases of falls from height, 10 cases of fights and disputes, 1586 medical emergencies, 2 drowning incidents and 289 other emergencies.

Under the patient transfer service in Murree and Kotli Sattian tehsil, Rescue 1122 safely shifted 203 critically ill patients from local hospitals to tertiary care facilities in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The report highlights the efficient performance and prompt response of Rescue 1122 teams in dealing with emergencies in the Murree region.
