Rescue 1122 responded to 285 emergencies in month of Marc

SHANGLA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Emergency Rescue Service 1122 Shangla responded to 285 calls including 128 medical emergencies and thirteen cases of road mishaps in month of March.

According to report issued by Rescue 1122, among 285 cases thirteen were of road accidents in which needed help was provided to victims . Three cases of fire eruption were reported in last month while two cases of bullet injuries and two incidents of drowning were reported.

Rescue 1122 also help transported eight vehicles that were affected during eight road accidents.

Similarly, rescue teams shifted a total of 128 patients to various teaching hospitals for emergency treatment. Rescue 1122 control room Shangla received 12759 calls during March among which 10924 were fake while 285 calls that were of emergent nature responded effectively.

District Emergency Officer Shangla, Sherdil Khan has said that rescue teams are working round the clock for public help and fully prepare to deal any emergency in a professional and effective way.
