Rescue 1122 responds to 99 emergencies during three days of Eid-ul-Azha in DIKhan

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan remained on high alert throughout the three days of Eid-ul-Azha and responded promptly to 99 emergencies of different nature across the district, ensuring timely assistance to affected citizens.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the emergency service handled a total of 99 incidents during the Eid holidays, including 70 medical emergencies, 21 road traffic accidents, five fire incidents, one recovery operation, one explosion-related incident, and one gunshot case.

Rescue teams provided immediate response to all emergencies, administering first aid to victims and shifting them to nearby hospitals whenever required.

To ensure public safety during Eid celebrations, Rescue 1122 deployed emergency personnel, ambulances, and fire vehicles at Eid congregations, cattle markets, recreational spots, and major highways across the district.

Officials said that special arrangements were made to deal effectively with any untoward situation and to provide uninterrupted emergency services to the public.
