SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) Residents of Chak 126 SB, Union Council 111 of Tehsil Sillanwali on Sunday urged the district administration

to take immediate notice of the poor performance of Suthra Punjab programme officials.

The locals expressed deep concern over the abysmal cleanliness situation and staged a protest,

claiming that streets and drains in the village had not been cleaned for several months, resulting in

stagnant water and foul odors.

The residents, including Athar Nadeem, Javed and others alleged that the contractor, in an attempt

to minimize costs, had deployed fewer sanitary workers than the sanctioned strength and failed to provide essential cleaning equipment to the staff.

The residents of Chak 126 SB appealed to the commissioner and deputy commissioner to take immediate notice of the matter and should also take action against the responsible.
