Retired military officers pay tribute to Pakistan armed forces on historic success in operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) The retired officers of the Pakistan armed forces organized a dignified ceremony here Monday to express solidarity with the historic victory achieved in Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos on May 10, 2025.

The event was marked by a strong expression of love for the nation and an unwavering commitment to the armed forces.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, retired officers including Chief Warrant Officer, Pakistan Air Force Ashfaq Ahmed Awan, Naib Subedar Tariq, Naib Subedar Jahangir, Havaldar Gul Rehman, Subedar Akram, Subedar Major Abdur Rehman, Subedar Iqbal and Subedar Khurshid described the success of the Operation as a testament to the professionalism and courage of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

They said that by practically executing the concept of Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, the Pakistan armed forces have sent a clear message to the enemy that no weakness would be tolerated in the defense of Pakistan. They particularly praised the role of the Pakistan Air Force, stating that targeting the S-400 radar system in Udhampur was a major military achievement that will be etched in history in golden letters.

The retired officers further stated that the Pakistan armed forces had consistently foiled the enemy’s nefarious designs on every front whether it was the 1965 war, the 1971 battle, or the Kargil front, the enemy has always been forced to retreat. They reaffirmed their resolve that whenever the nation needed them, they would not hesitate to make any sacrifice.

On this occasion, the retired officers described the strong bond between the nation and the armed forces as Pakistan’s true strength, stating that the nation had always stood shoulder to shoulder with its brave forces and would continue to do so in the future.

They warned the enemy not to make the mistake of underestimating Pakistan, adding that the country’s Army, Navy and Air 1Force were an impregnable wall against any adversary. The nation possesses full defensive capability and the strength to give a crushing response to any aggression, they added.
