Road bump leads to severe accident in Khairpur Tamewali

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) A boy sustained critical injuries in a road accident in Khairpur Tamewali tehsil on Sunday,Rescue 1122 officials said.

According to rescue staff,the child was seated on a reserved seat of a loader rickshaw when the vehicle hit a road bump.

The sudden jolt caused him to fall onto the road,where he came under the tyre, resulting in the amputation of his leg.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene promptly,provided first aid and maintained an intravenous (IV) line before shifting the injured child to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for further treatment.

The injured was identified as Haider(11),r/o Mouza Mucher,Basti Mian Wala Khooh,Khairpur Tamewali.
