A man was shot dead by robbers for putting up resistance

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) A man was shot dead by robbers for putting up resistance,

in Muslim Town area here on Wednesday.

According to police, Muhammad Siraj, a resident of Chak 228/EB,

was returning home by his motorcycle after drawing cash from

a bank when two armed men riding a motorcycle attempted to

intercept him.

The man, however, did not stop, and the alleged robbers opened

fire at him, killing him on the spot. The outlaws decamped after

snatching cash worth several lakh rupees.

Police rushed to the spot, collected forensic evidence and shifted

the body to THQ hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered.

Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects.
