Robbery gang ringleader held in Gujar Khan Police action

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) The Gujar Khan Police have apprehended the ringleader of a gang involved in a robbery incident reported two months ago, recovering a snatched motorcycle, Rs9,000 in cash and the weapon used in the crime, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Monday.

The suspect, along with the booty, he added, was rounded up during a targeted operation conducted by the police, while raids were under way to arrest his accomplice.

The spokesman said the detained accused would be sent to court with solid evidence to ensure conviction.

Superintendent of Police Saddar Anum Sher said those depriving citizens of their valuable belongings could not escape the law.
