Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ Gates Opened for PM Shehbaz Sharif in Madinah

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a rare diplomatic honor as officials opened the internal gates of the Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ during his visit to Masjid-e-Nabawi. Following high-level talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on regional stability and US-Iran mediation, the PM offered prayers for Pakistan’s economic recovery before departing for Doha to meet the Amir of Qatar.

Saudi authorities extended a rare gesture of deep respect to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif by opening the doors of the Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ. The Prime Minister and his delegation stepped inside the sacred chamber to pay their respects and offer salutations at the final resting place of the Prophet ﷺ.

Governor of Madinah, Prince Salman bin Sultan, received the PM upon his arrival from Jeddah. Inside the Prophet’s Mosque, Shehbaz Sharif prayed specifically for Pakistan’s prosperity and global peace. This visit underscores the ironclad bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The spiritual visit followed a late-night session with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Their discussion centered on the current regional situation and mutual strategic interests. Now, the Prime Minister travels to Doha for a scheduled meeting with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, focusing on further economic and energy cooperation.
