Rs10 mln worth cash, jewelry recovered from arrested suspects

The Hyderabad police have claimed that a gang involved in theft, robberies and snatching has been busted along with a recovery of cash and jewelry worth over Rs10 million

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) The Hyderabad police have claimed that a gang involved in theft, robberies and snatching has been busted along with a recovery of cash and jewelry worth over Rs10 million.

The police spokesman informed here on Friday that the A-Section police rounded up 7 suspects, including 2 allegedly associated with the notorious Imran Mahar gang, in separate raids.

He added that the police recovered cash, jewelry, motorbikes and other valuable items they had looted in separate crimes from those suspects.

The spokesman identified the suspects as Ayaz Jamali and Zahid Sethar of Mahar gang, Jameel Shoro, Muhammad Eedan Mallah, Shafqatullah Shaikh, Ali Raza and Faheem Shah.

According to him, Jamali was already booked in 14 FIRs and Sethar in 9.
