Rustam-e-Pakistan final contest to on March 27

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) The final contest of ‘Rustam-e-Pakistan’ will be held at the football ground, Noorpur near Allied Hospital on Friday, March 27, under the aegis of Pakistan Wrestling Federation.

According to Secretary General, Faisalabad District and Divisional Wrestling Association, Muhammad Atif Naumi, the Rustam-e-Pakistan is the biggest and most historic event of the country's traditional wrestling (mud-wrestling), which is held after every two years.

The wrestlers from all over Pakistan participate in this grand competition at the grassroots level.

In the contest, Pakistan Army's renowned wrestler Muhammad Gulzar (Gulu Butt) will compete against Pakistan WAPDA's renowned wrestler Muhammad Adnan (Tira Wala).

MNA Raja Daniyal Ahmed chief guest while the Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar will be guest of honour.

The event will be held at 3 pm.
