RWMC pays tribute to armed forces on ‘Marka-e-Haq’ anniversary

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Chief Executive Officer of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company(RWMC) Rana Sajid Safdar on Thursday described “Marka-e-Haq” as a golden chapter in Pakistan’s military history, saying it demonstrated to the world that the country’s defence was in strong hands.

In a statement issued on the completion of one year of the operation’s success, Safdar paid tribute to the armed forces for what he termed their professional skill, courage, sacrifices and effective defence strategy in thwarting the enemy’s designs.

He said the armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, had delivered a clear message that no compromise could be made on Pakistan’s sovereignty and security.

Safdar also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, saying his vision and decisions on national security had enabled an effective response to external threats.

He commended the Pakistan Air Force for demonstrating “skill, bravery and extraordinary spirit”, saying its role had made the nation proud.

The CEO said the success of “Marka-e-Haq” reflected national unity, public solidarity and confidence in the armed forces. He added that the Pakistani people had consistently stood by national institutions in difficult times and remained ready to make sacrifices for the country’s security.

Safdar said the nation needed to maintain the same spirit of unity, discipline and patriotism to ensure Pakistan’s continued development and stability.

He added that the RWMC remained committed to public welfare and sanitation services while serving the country. He also prayed for lasting peace, progress and stability in Pakistan.
