ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2026) The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Thursday announced a temporary power suspension from several feeders linked to the 132kV Satellite Town Grid Station due to emergency safety work on Friday morning.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to facilitate emergency maintenance work on the Tariq Shaheed feeder cable.

The affected feeders include Shaheed Muhammad Din, Shamsabad, Sadiqabad, Syedpur Road, C Block, Shakrial, Noor Muhammad Road, Asghar Mall, Ojri Camp, Afandi Colony, National Market, Abdul Rehman, Urology, Haideri Chowk, Fourth Road, Commercial Centre, New Millpur, Ghausia Chowk, E Block, Abu Bakar, Farooq-e-Azam and Jamia Masjid Road.

The spokesperson requested consumers in the affected areas to cooperate during the temporary outage and observe necessary safety precautions.

IESCO also apologized for the inconvenience caused by the scheduled power interruption.
