ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Feb, 2026) Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting reflects the commitment of the leadership of both friendly countries to advancing cooperation prospects and strengthening their strategic partnership, as well as underscoring the importance of integrated efforts to consolidate security and stability and contribute to building a more balanced and sustainable international system.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance security cooperation in light of current regional and international developments, in line with the evolving nature of cross-border threats, foremost among them organised crime, cyber challenges and the risks of extremism.
The meeting also addressed the importance of leveraging advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in developing police work, in a manner that enhances readiness and elevates the efficiency of security systems.
