Salman announces grand celebrations on May 9 for success of Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad has announced that special celebrations and events will be held across Karachi on May 9 to mark the success of Operation “Bunyan-al-Marsoos.”

He said the day would be remembered as a symbol of national unity, courage, sacrifice, and the protection of the country’s sovereignty.

In his statement on Thursday, Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad said that the success of Operation “Bunyan-al-Marsoos” had raised the morale of the nation and strengthened Pakistan’s peace, stability, and dignity. He added that the entire nation takes pride in its brave armed forces, who demonstrated extraordinary courage and resilience.

The Deputy Mayor stated that the people of Pakistan and national institutions are united against hostile forces, and that the malicious intentions of anti-state elements would continue to be defeated through national unity and collective strength.

He further said that Pakistan Peoples Party has always stood for national security, democratic values, and public unity, and will continue to play its role in the country’s progress and stability.

Salman Abdullah Murad appealed to the public, especially the youth, to participate enthusiastically in the May 9 celebrations and demonstrate patriotism and national solidarity. He also paid tribute to the martyrs, war veterans, and all those who sacrificed for the peace and security of the country.
