SALU Launches Academic Module, Digitizes Results System

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur on Wednesday has successfully operationalized its Academic Module, marking a major step towards digital governance and transparency in academic affairs.

The university has formally commenced digital submission of results and online printing of academic records including marks sheets, transcripts and ledgers.

The formal inauguration ceremony was held at the Syndicate Hall of the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat. The proceedings began with recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Aijaz Shaikh. Meritorious Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Vice Chancellor, SALU, formally inaugurated the module.

On the occasion, marks sheets, transcripts and ledgers of students from the Department of Special education and the Department of urdu were successfully generated and printed through the new system, demonstrating its operational readiness.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk said the successful launch of the Academic Module was the outcome of months of planning, data migration, verification, testing and dedicated efforts by faculty, officers, employees and IT professionals. He congratulated the entire university community on the achievement.

He said all major technical and operational challenges faced during the development phase have been successfully resolved. Now the university will be able to process examination results and academic records through a secure, efficient and transparent digital platform.

He added that the university will continue to enhance the module by integrating more academic functions and expanding digital services.

The Vice Chancellor specially congratulated the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Arts and Languages, particularly the Department of Special Education headed by Dr Zahid Sahito and the Department of Urdu headed by Dr. Tariq Bin Umar, for becoming the first departments to successfully complete end-to-end implementation of the module. He commended their faculty and staff for their dedication and hoped other departments would follow their example.

IT experts Mr. Arslan Larik and Sajid Danwer briefed the participants on the technical aspects of the module and acknowledged the cooperation of faculty and staff in data verification and system testing. A live demonstration of result generation and printing was also held.

The ceremony was addressed by Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Prof. Dr. Liaquat Chandio, Prof. Dr Farman Mangi, Prof. Dr. Irum Rani and Prof Dr Samina Rajper. They appreciated the leadership of the Vice Chancellor and termed the initiative a significant step towards quality, transparency and technology-driven governance at SALU.

The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellors Prof. Dr. Maqsood Zia Shah and Prof. Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi, Deans, Controller of Examinations Nazir Ahmed Phulpoto, Director Finance Qazi Nizamuddin, Inspector of Colleges Syed Muneer Shah, faculty members, officers, IT staff and a large number of students.
