Sanitation, commodities prices in Darazinda reviewed

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Darazinda, Shahid Iqbal Khattak has paid a surprise visit to the Darazinda bazaar to stock of food prices, sanitation conditions, and other public facilities.

According to the administration during the visit, he directed shopkeepers to strictly follow the official price list to ensure relief for people.

On this occasion, medical stores were inspected for valid licenses and expiry dates of medicines, while cleanliness and meat quality were checked at poultry shops.

The AC also issued directives against encroachments, ordering immediate removal of obstacles to ensure smooth public movement.

Additionally, petrol pumps were examined for proper measurement systems and safety measures.

He further reviewed the functionality of street lights, the attendance and performance of TMA staff, and the overall cleanliness system, directing authorities to ensure the availability of dustbins in the market.

He said district administration remains committed to providing better facilities, a clean environment, and quality goods to people and in this regard no negligence would be tolerated.
