MADINAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, conducted a surprise, late-night inspection of Pakistani pilgrims' residences in the Markaziya area near Masjid-e-Nabawi to review service standards. Accompanied by Director Madinah, Zahid Sohail and Coordinator Madinah, Imran Mashal, the minister directly assessed the quality of meals and the transportation system provided to the pilgrims.
During the visit, the minister received positive feedback on the government Hajj scheme. Haji Hakim Rafiullah from Karachi, performing his fifth Hajj, praised the arrangements as the most exemplary he has witnessed, commending the dedicated guidance of the Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj. Similarly, Haji Khayal Muhammad shared that the facilities surpassed his initial expectations, while Haji Dr. Saeed, who opted for the government scheme over a private one, expressed immense pride in his decision. Muhammad Arsalan from Lahore also extended his gratitude to the Minister and the Pakistan Hajj Mission for the high-quality services provided to him and his mother.

Pilgrims traveling with their families suggested that, similar to arrangements in Makkah, dedicated rooms for couples should be provided in Madinah. Furthermore, following a complaint from a pilgrim regarding a mobile network allegedly activating multiple SIMs against pilgrims' Names without their consent, the Minister took immediate notice. He demanded an urgent explanation from the Pakistan Hajj Mission officials on-site and assured the pilgrims that the matter would be investigated thoroughly.
Concluding the visit, the minister issued strict directives to official, Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj and support staff to maintain rigorous 24-hour monitoring of food quality, cleanliness, and transportation. He emphasized that the ministry's top priority is to ensure seamless service until the final phase of the Hajj operation, warning that any negligence in addressing the pilgrims' concerns will not be tolerated.
