Makkah, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, on Friday visited the head office of Al-Rajhi Tawafa Company and the grand Al-Rajhi Mosque in Makkah to review the operational preparations finalized for Hajj 2026.

The Al-Rajhi Mosque stands as the largest mosque in Makkah after the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) and the Prophet's Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) in Madinah, accommodating up to 30,000 worshippers at a time.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has signed a formal agreement with the Al-Rajhi Company to manage the comprehensive logistics and arrangements for approximately 95,000 Pakistani pilgrims arriving under the Government Hajj Scheme this year.

Upon his arrival at the headquarters, the Federal Minister was extended a warm welcome by Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Rajhi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Al-Rajhi Company, alongside other senior executives. During the high-level meeting, both sides held detailed deliberations on the core arrangements for Hajj 2026, focusing heavily on pilgrim accommodation, the integrated transport network, catering services, and the facilities slated for deployment across the sacred places (Mashaer), including Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.

The company’s operational heads provided a thorough briefing on their centralized monitoring systems and dynamic crowd-handling blueprints.

The Minister also inspected the company's advanced technological wings, including the dedicated Hajj Operations Monitoring Room, an in-house television studio, and a state-of-the-art research library.

During this on-site inspection, he evaluated the ground realities of the newly pitched, modern air-conditioned tents, utilities infrastructure, and related logistics designated for the Pakistani pilgrims.

Speaking to the media after his field evaluation, Federal Minister, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf expressed his profound satisfaction with the overall operational readiness displayed by the Al-Rajhi Company. He observed that the company had made sincere, high-quality efforts on the ground to maximize comfort for the guests of Allah. The Minister added that at the special request of the Government of Pakistan, meticulous attention has been paid to the lodging and transit facilities, making this year's arrangements visibly more advanced and streamlined compared to previous seasons.

Concluding his visit, the Federal Minister directed the senior leadership of the Al-Rajhi Group and the relevant officials of the Pakistan Hajj Mission to further synchronize their field coordination. This integration, he emphasized, was crucial to eliminating any potential bottlenecks during the core days of the pilgrimage, thereby rendering the welfare operation completely flawless and effective.
