Sargodha city illuminated for Eid ul Azha:

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Sargodha city has been decorated with vibrant lights and artistic paintings to provide a festive environment for citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, following the special vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

According to a spokesman of district administration,under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhary and the supervision of Suthra Punjab Authority Managing Director Rana Muhammad Abubakar, the district administration completed the installation of colorful lighting and decorative art at major intersections and central highways.

The initiative aims to foster a spirit of celebration and ownership among the residents while enhancing the visual appeal of the city's public spaces,he said.

Citizens lauded the provincial government and district administration for the arrangements, describing the beautification drive as a positive step for the community.

The Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhary also urged the public to ensure cleanliness by disposing of animal waste in designated spots and bags, requesting full cooperation with the Suthra Punjab Authority staff to maintain the city’s hygiene during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
