Satge Drama "Ko Ko Manhoo Moti Danoo" presented in Memory of former MNA Late Ayaz Soomro by Ats Council Larkano

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) The Art Council of Pakistan, Larkana, presented the stage drama “Ko Ko Manho Moti Dano” in memory of former Provincial Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party Larkana District President,Late Advocate Muhammad Ayaz Soomro. The drama was directed by Niaz Hussain Sheikh.

The event’s special guests included renowned eye specialist and former Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Dr. Akbar Haider Soomro, along with Chairman of the Ayaz Soomro Foundation and President of the Peoples Party Lawyers Forum, Muhammad Riyaz Soomro.

The drama focused on social injustices and rural life, highlighting a landlord’s efforts to prevent an educated girl and boy from pursuing education. The story followed young people determined to eliminate ignorance from their village through education, facing obstacles from the landlord, who ultimately admits his mistake and accepts the importance of education after advice from a retired teacher.

During the program, guests were honored with traditional Sindhi gifts, including caps and ajraks. Niaz Hussain Sheikh and Reema Naz delivered outstanding performances in the play.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Riyaz Soomro said that the late Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, despite difficult circumstances, pursued higher education and became a renowned lawyer, bringing honor not only to his family but also to his region. He added that the late Ayaz Soomro always helped the poor and needy, maintained close ties with PPP workers, and provided employment to many.

The event was attended by a large number of people from the arts and social sectors, including Chairman of Art Council of Pakistan Larkana Syed Javed Shah, President Haji Muhammad Ismail Jatoi, Nadeem Soomro, Naseer Muhammad Khaharo, Ashiq Dayo, and Sattar Lar.
