HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam organised a dignified and well-attended seminar on “Maarka-e-Haq,” followed by a large solidarity rally with the Pakistan Army led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal. A large number of faculty members, officers, employees and students participated in the event, expressing unwavering support for national unity, security and the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces of Pakistan.
According to the SAU spokesperson, addressing the seminar, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal paid tribute to Pakistan’s defence institutions, particularly the Pakistan Army, for their remarkable sacrifices in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, stability and peace.
He stated that Sindh Agriculture University was committed not only to imparting quality education but also to preparing youth for national responsibilities and leadership roles.
He emphasized that the younger generation must actively engage in modern fields such as information technology, innovation and advanced sciences to contribute towards the country’s progress and development.
Social leader Abdullah Hassan said Pakistan was emerging as a strong and respected nation due to its robust defence capabilities and institutional strength. He noted that merit-based scholarships, educational support and employment opportunities were being provided to empower youth and enable them to contribute effectively to national development.
Head of the Students-Teachers Engagement Program Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar said that the Pakistan Army, civil society, teachers and students were collectively playing a vital role in strengthening national stability and unity. He urged students to adopt positive and constructive roles through education, research and national service.
Engineer Nauman Ali remarked that after May 10, 2025, Pakistan had emerged globally with enhanced dignity and strength, further improving the country’s diplomatic standing and international importance. Speakers collectively stressed the need for youth to excel in education, research, information technology and innovation to ensure a stronger and more progressive Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Shahla Baloch presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the participation of guests, faculty members, students, officers and employees.
Later, a large rally was held under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army. Participants carrying national flags and banners chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” reaffirming their commitment to the country’s security, sovereignty and stability.
Among those present on the occasion were Dean Dr. Giasuddin Shah Rashdi, Dean Dr. Muneer Ahmed Mangrio, Dean Dr. Abdul Mubeen Lodhi, Dr. Piar Ali Shar along with several faculty members, officers and university officials.
