SBA police accelerates crackdown against criminals

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) District police on the directives of SSP Sameer Noor Channa, continued crackdown against criminal elements, achieving significant successes in maintaining law and order and apprehending wanted suspects.

According to police y, police teams from Daur and Qazi Ahmed carried out effective operations, recovering stolen property and arresting suspects involved in serious crimes.

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Daur, and his team, conducted a successful raid and recovered valuable items that had been stolen a few days earlier.

The recovered items included two solar plates, one motorcycle, and Rs. 30,000 cash. The items were returned to their rightful owners. Citizens Mehtab Hussain Waswano, Vijay Kumar Sochi, Ashoke Kumar Sochi, and Hafiz Nizamuddin Dahri expressed appreciation for the professional performance of police and thanked SSP Sameer Noor Channa and his team.

In another operation, Daur police arrested a proclaimed offender, Nawab Khan Pathan, who had been absconding and was wanted in multiple cases. Legal proceedings against him have been initiated.

Meanwhile, SHO of Qazi Ahmed Police Station, along with his team, carried out an intelligence-based operation and arrested a highly wanted suspect, Dhan Raj Bheel, who was absconding in a murder case. Further investigation is underway. SSP Sameer Noor Channa expressed satisfaction over the performance of police teams and reiterated that protection of life and property of citizens remains top priority. He emphasized that operations against criminal elements would continue with same intensity until the district is cleared of crime.
