SCCI appreciates Pakistan's diplomatic efforts

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) The Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) lauded Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts

aimed at reducing tensions between the United States and Iran, terming the initiative

Talking to media here on Wednesday, SCCI President Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, appreciated the

leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff General

Asim Munir, stating that Pakistan’s responsible and constructive role is commendable

and has further strengthened its standing in the international community.

He expressed optimism that development would pave the way for lasting peace in the region

and serve as a strong foundation for successful diplomatic engagements.

Yasir Qayyum added that Pakistan has always been a proponent of peace, stability,

and development, and the nation takes pride in its positive global image.

He noted that such diplomatic initiatives are also likely to have a positive impact

on global economic activities, bringing further recognition to Pakistan’s efforts.
