SCCI delegation meets SAPM Haroon Akhtar Khan on key industrial issues

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) A high-level delegation from the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry,led by President Syed Ahtesham Mazhar,met with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (Minister of State) for Industries and Production Division Haroon Akhtar Khan on Friday to discuss key issues affecting the business community.

The meeting arranged through the courtesy of Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, focused on improving ease of doing business in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) and extending the utilization period under the Export Facilitation Scheme.

During the session,the Minister of State gave a patient hearing to the proposals and assured the delegation of full cooperation and institutional support for a swift and amicable resolution of the issues discussed.

Federal Secretary for Industries and Production Saif Anjum,Additional Secretary Muhammad Asad islam Mahni and Directors General Freedoon Akram Sheikh and Director General SAPM were also present.
