Speaking on issues affecting the business community, he said that the restoration of the Fixed Tax Regime (FTR) would provide greater certainty and ease for industrialists and exporters.

Ahtesham Mazhar stressed that electricity rates for industries should be brought in line with those of regional competitor countries, enabling Pakistani exporters to compete more effectively and increase their share in global trade.

He urged the government to introduce greater facilitation and support measures for exporters to enable Sialkot to play an even more significant role in the country's export growth.
