SCCI,Pak China platform discuss supply chain center to boost trade ties

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI),Syed Ahtesham Mazhar held a meeting with CEO of the Pak China platform,Dr.Umar Farooq Sansi at the SCCI Auditorium to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral trade and industrial cooperation,officials said on Wednesday.

During the meeting,both sides discussed the development of the Pak-China Supply Chain Center,a flagship project of the Hunan Sansi Holding Group.

The initiative aims to enhance Pakistan-China trade linkages through integrated supply chain solutions,improved cross-border logistics,streamlined sourcing and promotion of industrial collaboration between the two countries.

The discussion highlighted the importance of modern supply chain infrastructure in boosting exports and attracting foreign investment.

Both leaders expressed optimism that the project would serve as a catalyst for economic growth and create new opportunities for businesses in Sialkot and beyond.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continued cooperation and support for initiatives aimed at strengthening trade relations between Pakistan and China.
