SCCI, Pakistan Railways discuss cargo transport

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) met a

delegation from Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore, led by Muhammad Hafeezullah, CEO/Senior General Manager, to discuss facilitating the transportation of export and import cargo through Pakistan Railways from Karachi Port to Sialkot and adjoining destinations.

The meeting was held at SCCI, brought together SCCI office bearers, members of the Departmental Committee on Shipping/ Dryport/ Airport/ Railway/ Transportation, and other stakeholders from the logistics and export sectors.

Participants exchanged valuable suggestions on strengthening rail-based freight services, improving logistics efficiency, and enhancing trade facilitation.
