SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Wednesday arranged a consultative session with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) on the proposed Draft Law on Subcontracting at SCCI Auditorium.
The session featured a comprehensive presentation by Mohsin Abbas Syed,Public Law Counsel and Legal consultant,who highlighted the key provisions and objectives of the proposed legislation.
A detailed question and answer(QNA) session was also conducted with Hina Anwar, Manager/Incharge DGM Legal Services (Administration and Central Support),SMEDA,allowing participants to seek clarification and share their views on the draft law.

The stakeholders emphasized the importance of ensuring that the legislation supports industrial growth, protects the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises,and promotes a transparent and efficient subcontracting environment in Pakistan.
