Schools inspected, one found violating closure orders

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Muhammad Nawaz, Additional Assistant Commissioner Syed Mukhtiar Shah conducted an inspection of schools along Pindi Road to ensure compliance with government orders mandating closure on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

During the inspection, all schools were found closed except a local school, which was operating with students present. The school administration was immediately issued a stern warning to shut down the institution and send students home.

Officials cautioned that any future violation of government directives would result in strict legal action, including the sealing of the school premises.

The inspection was part of ongoing efforts to enforce official notifications and maintain discipline across the district.
