Secretary Works inspects development projects in Sehwan

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) The Sindh Secretary Works and Service Muhammad Nawaz Soho inspected the ongoing development works and anti encroachment initiatives in Sehwan town of Jamshoro district on Friday.

Accompanied by Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, he checked the works on a road stretching from Jahaz Chowk to Sehwan College.

Talking to media persons during the visit, the Secretary said all encroachments existing on either side of the road would be removed as they had set June 30 as the deadline for the project.

Soho expressed hope that after completion the dual carriageway would greatly ease the flow of traffic in the town which was home to the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA), attracting millions of visitors every year.

He also visited Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences where he inspected the ongoing civil works.

He informed that the provincial government was constructing a structure for a rapid response center and a nursing and paramedical school in Sehwan.
