Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, issued the orders in view of the expected participation of senior military and civil dignitaries. Officials said a comprehensive security plan has been put in place to avert any untoward incidents during the high-profile event.

Restrictions have further been imposed on the use of loudspeakers, the opening of shops in specified areas, and vehicle parking.

Authorities have also limited movement of certain individuals and restricted unnecessary activities on the PMA Kakul Road due to heightened security concerns.
