Security arrangements for Good Friday, Easter finalized

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) An important meeting was held at Police Lines Headquarters regarding security arrangements for Good Friday and Easter. SP Security Asghar Ali Goraya, SP Headquarters Mudassar Iqbal and other officers attended the meeting while pastors and notables from the Christian community also participated.

SP Security Asghar Ali Goraya said that fool-proof and effective security arrangements will be ensured on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter.

Complete body searching and entry through walk-through gates will be mandatory at churches. Effective security will be provided at churches, parks, and recreational spots.

The pastors and community leaders assured full cooperation with the police for smooth security arrangements.
