Security audit of Nashpa oil field conducted

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) The Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Foreign Security Cell, Sahibzada Samiullah, on Thursday conducted a detailed security audit of the OGDCL Nashpa Oil and Gas Plant, directing measures to enhance security.

During visit, he was accompanied by committee members, including DSP Headquarters, DSP CTD, AGO Special Branch and representatives from 101 NLI. The committee members reviewed progress on deficiencies identified during the previous inspection and conducted a thorough assessment of the plant’s various departments.

The evaluation included security systems, surveillance cameras, weapons and ammunition availability and quality.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner issued directives to enhance safety measures, ensure continuous monitoring and promptly identify risks to take timely action.

It was said that a comprehensive report would be prepared and submitted to relevant authorities. The committee assured that all possible measures would be taken to safeguard the plant against any potential threats.
