UTHAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) On the second day of the annual Hinglaj Mata Nani Mandir festival, Senator Dinesh Kumar paid a detailed visit to the site, where thousands of Hindu pilgrims from across the country continue to arrive to participate in the three-day celebrations.
During his visit, Senator Dinesh Kumar inaugurated a newly constructed residential building worth Rs. 30 million, funded by the Balochistan government. He was accompanied by Provincial Assembly Member Rabi Pawja, Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Humeera Baloch, SSP Lasbela Najeebullah Pandrani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Siraj Baloch, Coast Guard Major Ejlas, Hinglaj Mata Mandir Welfare and Development Society President Maki Vinod Kumar, General Secretary Valency Mal, and representatives of the Hindu Panchayat.
The Senator inspected various stalls set up at the festival, including a free medical camp by Pakistan Coast Guard and the Health Department, clean drinking water stalls by the district administration, and ongoing development projects at the temple funded by the provincial government.
Addressing the pilgrims, Senator Kumar assured that foolproof security arrangements were in place, involving the district administration, Lasbela Police, Frontier Corps Balochistan, Pakistan Coast Guard, and other law enforcement agencies. Walk-through gates and modern security checks have been installed for safe entry.
He added that medical teams, doctors, PPHI Lasbela, Rescue 1122, and Edhi Foundation ambulances are present round-the-clock, while an Emergency Response Center (ERC) has been activated to deal with any unforeseen situation. The Hinglaj Shiva Mandli has also arranged free meals, clean water, and medicines for pilgrims throughout the festival.
Senator Kumar highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan government has already carried out development works worth Rs. 20 billion, with an additional Rs. 10 billion announced for this year. He noted that Rs. 45 million has been allocated for free food (langar) during the festival, along with 30,000 mosquito nets for pilgrims.
