SEPCO seized two illegals direct transformer and held 04 ice factory owers in police Custody

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) officials, along with Rangers and police, conducted a grand operation against electricity theft on Thursday.

They raided a colony on Airport Road, where an ice factory was being run directly. Underground conductors measuring 11,000 units were seized, along with two direct-operating transformers—one 100 kW and the other 25 kW. According to SEPCO Circle Larkana Superintendent Engineer Shah Muhammad Bajkani, the team included Executive Engineer Syed Shahid Shah and SEPCO staff, in addition to Rangers and police

During the raid on a private colony on Airport Road in Larkana, the 100 kW and 25 kW transformers used in an illegally operated ice factory were confiscated. Additionally, 11,000 conductors’ wires laid underground were seized, and four individuals were arrested and handed over to the police.He said more grand operation will be continue against the theft Mafia and over dues billing holders.
