KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz on Tuesday chaired a key online meeting to review progress on public welfare and governance reforms under the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s District Service Delivery Initiative, signaling renewed administrative focus on efficiency and accountability.
The meeting brought together officials from district administration, line departments, and relevant institutions, who deliberated on ongoing development schemes designed to enhance public services and ensure timely, transparent, and sustainable solutions to citizens’ concerns.
Addressing participants, the deputy commissioner directed all departments to prioritize resolution of public issues and ensure provision of essential facilities at the grassroots level.
He noted that the initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to strengthening governance and improving service delivery across districts.
Emphasizing the need for strong inter-departmental coordination, Nawaz called for a unified strategy to accelerate the completion of welfare and development projects. He also instructed departments to submit regular progress reports, warning that negligence or delays in addressing public complaints would not be tolerated.
