Session held with lady police to promote human rights

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) A human rights advocacy delegation here held a special session with the lady police staff in Kohat focusing on the promotion of human rights, rule of law and social justice.

During the session, detailed discussions were held on safeguarding the fundamental rights of women, children and minorities.

The delegation emphasized the need for effective measures to ensure protection of human rights and dignity within society.

Speaking on the occasion, participants highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional mechanisms to uphold justice and equality.

They noted that such engagements contribute to building awareness and fostering a culture of respect for human rights at the community level.

SP Investigation Kohat, Niaz Muhammad Khan who attended the session, appreciated the initiative and reaffirmed the police department’s commitment to protect vulnerable groups and ensure the rule of law across the district.
