Seven arrested, 12 stolen bikes recovered in Dera police crackdown

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) The district police have arrested seven suspects allegedly involved in theft, robbery and drug-related crimes, recovered 12 stolen motorcycles, and apprehended a proclaimed offender carrying a government-announced bounty of Rs 500,000 during a major crackdown conducted in the Suburb Circle against criminal elements.

According to police spokesman, the operation was conducted on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmed, under the supervision of SP City Division Muhammad Nauman and led by DSP Suburb Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, along with SHO Shorkot Aftab Alam Baloch and SHO Dera Town Malik Imran Marhal.

The arrested suspects were identified as Arsalan alias Anu, son of Muhammad Rafiq; Shahzad, son of Sharifullah; Iman Ali, son of Rahim Gul; Abdullah alias Ghazni, son of Saifal; and Rehan Bihari, son of Rashid Ahmad, among others.

The police said the suspects were allegedly involved in various cases of theft and robbery within the circle.

During the operation, the police also recovered 12 stolen motorcycles from the possession of the accused.

In a separate action, the police arrested proclaimed offender Saadat Ali, son of Haq Nawaz, a resident of Tank, who was wanted in multiple cases, including murder and narcotics offences. The police said the provincial government had announced a bounty of Rs 500,000 for his arrest. He was reportedly wanted in six different criminal cases.

DSP Hafiz Muhammad Adnan said that the operations against criminals and anti-social elements would continue to ensure law and order and protect citizens from crime.
