Seven held with liquor, illegal weapons in crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Police on Tuesday arrested seven suspects during operations against liquor and illegal weapons, recovering 35 litres of liquor and arms with ammunition.

According to a police spokesman, the arrests were made in the jurisdictions of Ratta Amral, Pirwadhai, Naseerabad and Dhamial police stations.

Cases have been registered against the accused, while further investigations are under way.

Divisional Superintendents of Police said those involved in drug peddling and illegal possession of weapons would not escape the law.
