Seven shops burgled in overnight theft spree in Burewala

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Burglars broke into seven shops in different parts of Burewala during the night, making off with cash, shoes, grocery items and other valuables worth millions of rupees, police and traders said.

According to reports, the thefts occurred within the jurisdiction of Model Town Police Station.

In A-Block, thieves broke into Fann Gas Agency and allegedly stole Rs150,000 in cash. In K-Block, Asad Spices and Grocery Store, Al Sheikh Grocery Store and a kerosene agency were also targeted, with cash and merchandise taken away.

In E-Block, burglars broke into Shehbaz Shoes, Younas Shoes and Captain Shoes, stealing expensive footwear and cash.

Police have launched an investigation.
