Shehri Traders alliance meets with SE HESCO

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) A delegation of Shehri Traders alliance met with SE HESCO Gulzar Ahmed Dadti to discuss the worsening situation of power supply in city following recent rainfall and storms. The delegation expressed serious concerns over the conditions in various areas caused by rain and storm-related disruptions. They pointed out that rainwater has accumulated in many parts of the city, creating difficulties for residents. Several areas are facing issues due to stagnant water, affecting daily life. SE Gulzar Dasti acknowledged the situation and said that due to heavy rainfall and storm conditions, several feeders of WAPDA tripped, leading to power outages in different parts of the city.

He said that electricity restoration work is ongoing and will be completed soon. The delegation also highlighted the problems caused by poor drainage due to power paucity, emphasizing that many neighborhoods remain submerged. They demanded immediate action to resolve the issues of power supply and ensure relief for citizens. SE assured the delegation that all possible measures are being taken to restore normalcy, including resolving electricity issues and improving drainage conditions.
